I’m thrilled to share the news:
My book has been named a WINNER in the 2018 International AAHGS Book Awards Contest (IABA).

Our Dewitty is my second book referencing family, friends, and neighbors who established the longest-lasting Black Settlement in Nebraska.

In this book, I’ve focused on the Women and what they had to say since, primarily, their voice has not been heard in almost all accountings of the Homesteaders.

I hope you enjoy reading about these strong women who were the backbone of the town and the families. Learn about their struggles, dreams, successes, and legacies.
